Philadelphia, PA, November 15, 2017 – Following a week of trial, Swartz Campbell partners Jeff McCarron and Josh Byrne achieved a nonsuit in favor of their client from Judge Karen Shreeves-John in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas action, Freemont v Gabis, et al, 2015 No. 2338. This legal malpractice action arose of representation of a psychologist involved in disciplinary hearings because he destroyed his notes from interviews and performed an inadequate child custody evaluation. On examination the plaintiff acknowledged he was guilty of all nine counts of the underlying order to show cause which was the basis of the disciplinary action against him. The defense convinced the court plaintiff did not meet his burden of proof for any of the claims brought against the defendant attorney
