Jesse Smith, an associate in Swartz Campbell’s Philadelphia office and member of the firm’s Toxic Tort Group, recently participated in the 2014 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast Awards, presented by The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia. Each year, in honor of Dr. King’s contributions to American society and beyond, the Barrister’ recognize the attorneys and judges who have made significant contributions to the city and region, leading the Philadelphia legal community through their dedication and public service.
Mr. Smith has been a member of The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia for over 5 years. The Barristers’ Association of Philadelphia was founded in 1950 with the purpose of addressing the professional needs and development of Black lawyers in Philadelphia. The organization offers programs such as seminars, cultural events, and publications, as well as career opportunities and scholarships for minority law students.
