James C. Haggerty, Esquire and Suzanne Tighe, Esquire made a presentation to the Claims Staff of AAA MidAtlantic with respect to the current status of uninsured and underinsured motorist claims in Pennsylvania. Recent developments were reviewed and discussed. Many of the recent cases in Pennsylvania have been handled by attorneys from Swartz Campbell LLC. The presentation also focused upon the handling of UM and UIM claims in Court, rather than in arbitration, as a result of the elimination of arbitration by the Supreme Court in IFP v. Koken.
