NICHOLAS E. SKILES is the managing partner of the firm’s Wilmington, Delaware office. Nicholas represents a number of diverse Fortune 500 companies in litigation. His most recent practice areas in civil litigation includes, but is not limited to, the following: Personal Injury, Products Liability, Toxic Tort, Insurance and Bad Faith, and Premises Liability. Mr. Skiles is admitted to practice in Delaware and New Jersey as well as the U.S. District Court of Delaware. Mr. Skiles has tried over twenty civil jury trials through verdict and the appellate level thus far in his career. Even with over twenty years of litigation and trial experience, Nicholas has continued success getting his clients the best results outside of the courtroom.
Mr. Skiles gives lectures to several insurance companies on claims handling practices as well as participates as a speaker at seminars covering topics ranging from toxic tort litigation, bad faith claims, and personal injury litigation. He most recently served as a panelist for a DSBA seminar: “When the Injury is Personal.” Mr. Skiles is also a board member on the Defense Counsel of Delaware, a member of the Delaware State Bar Association, and has received a peer review rating of “High Ethical Standing” from Martindale Hubbell.
