Brian D. Ahern

BRIAN D. AHERN is a partner in the Mass Tort Litigation Group practicing in the firm’s Philadelphia, PA and Wilmington, DE offices. He concentrates his practice in defense of products liability, toxic torts, and premises liability. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation, including presuit investigation, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation and trial.

Brian has been practicing for over 20 years, and has over 10 years of experience in civil practice including defense of toxic tort claims, general liability claims, personal injury claims, and sexual abuse claims. He has conducted trials in courts in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

Prior to joining civil practice, Brian served as a Deputy Attorney General in the Delaware Department of Justice. In that position, he prosecuted and conducted trials for serious felony cases, including white collar offenses, violent offenses, and sexual offenses.

Brian earned his juris doctor from the Widener University School of Law. He earned a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
